Cold and still crunchy underfoot but glimpses of blue sky and sunshine now and again. When snow hangs around like it is it's usually a sign of more to come?

Cold, with a cold wind but sunshine all day up til now! 
PS I did a vitamin D test yesterday from Home Bargains because I take Vitamin D tablets. I used to take one in morning and one at night but read somewhere that tsking them in the evening was a bad idea? So now I take two in the mornings, but also found out that Vitamin D can build up in your system. Before carrying on with taking them I decided to do the test and luckily with what i am taking my results were perfect!
It was the mention of sunshine that prompted the above vitamin D paragraph!

Cold, windy with bright periods. Snow is still lying where it drifted which is not a good thing!

Snow at around 6.30 just as the bin lorry arrived then we have rain and sleet for the rest of the day.
