Started 2026 with a sunshiny day. Washed the towels, including the Christmas teatowel (one of my few concessions to Christmas!). Black clouds to the North though. I shall be keeping my weather eye out (funny expresssion that!).

Overcast and cold. Decided to start the year in shorts which are no problem when it'd cold. The cold I can hack, but the wind chill is a different matter!  Poor legs went from white to red after Kato's long walk. (Not giving up so easily though, sticking with shorts for his evening walk in the hope that the wind decides to back off?)

Very cold strong north wind. Looking like a very nice day apart from that. We have a very tiny amount of frozen snow on the ground.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

No snow here yet, just a frost. Decided to ditch the shorts today and back with the long johns and trousers. Completed 100 press ups yesterday and done 30 up to now his morning! (aint getting any easier yet!)

I'm in two minds about you here. One, I have great respect for your efforts, the other is I think you're totally derranged.  Most days I waver between the two.
