Tried 15 press ups on awakening this morning, another 15 whilst walking Kato in the woods. Another 15 when I got home and will do another 15 after lunch. The rest will be done throughout the day, probably in tens though, 20 of which will be done at my excercise class. If I can get them up to initially all being 20 reps that will mean I only need to so them five times a day. The hope is to eventually reach 25 reps then only four times a day will suffiice. Next could be 50 twice a day and the last day I would like to try 100 at once, a tall order I know, but something to aim for?
My wrists have got used to it now along with my biceps! Surprisingly it is my quads on the front of my legs which are aching, but my core must be ok as there are no aches there.
Thanks Veggie, I've seen those on the net. I may have to pay Aldi a visit! It does get a bit boring doing push ups in various locations and at different times of the day but I am sticking with it. My foot slipped this evening when I was doing Barre and I fell on my arse...........so as punishment I said to myself " Gimme 20"
Hopefully, a big change of routine today on my seventh day, if I can manage it? I've decided after a couple of sets of 20 press ups yesterday without too much bother, to switch it up to a minimum of 20. This will mean only five sets to do a day. I have already accounted for a set on each of Kato's two dog walks, a set first thing after getting out of bed and a set just before bed.
I've just got back from Kato's first walk and did 20 first thing in bathroom then 20 outdoors with Kato. Seems to be a plan for the moment and that only leaves another 20 press ups to do at any moment through the day or evening?
Abs a bit painful this morning from an abs workout a couple of days ago, but should be ok once I get back into a rhythm (had to look up the spelling?)
As an aside, and nothing to do with this thread, I have just signed up for a four week archery course. I used to love playing bows and arrows as a kid (usually ones we had made ourselves from the woodland. Brings back memories of a secret woodland haunt which had trees Ideal for making bows and arrows.
It will be interesting seeing how I get on with a Recurve Bow with sights (Is that not cheating? Robin Hood didn't have sights)

My sight was on Robin Hood (Richard Greene) even as a 6 year old I thought he was gorgeous
Quite chuffed really, 60 push ups before noon! Another 20 to do on Kato's afternoon/evening walk then only 20 to do before bed! Get in, job's a goodun!
