2026 - How's your weather today?

It’s been snowing for the past hour just flurries so not really settling.

Amazingly (touch wood) we have no snow. We are usually the first to be hit with it, but not this time?

A bit of snow today but very cold. Not long after scrubbing some parsnips in a bucket of water it was beginning to freeze. Forecast -8 to -10C tonight.

-6c now in greenhouse. About 1 inch of snow, ideal for making a snowman and a slide. I remember once at school we had made a good slide in the playground before school and were looking forward to playing on it at break but a nasty teach had melted it with salt.

My Mam used to say "It's  too cold to snow", sounds about right to me?  Heavy snow forecast but none yet and absolutely freezing!

It started snowing last night around 10-ish we have around an inch left out there. My GH low was -4.1c so my lettuce isn't looking to good hopefully it'll recover.

Another heavy frost with a blue sky and sunshine. Very pretty in a Brrrr sort of way.

More snow, strong north wind, and sunshine

The little bit of snow is staying around, very fine fluffy stuff but not enough for a snowman. -8.6° last night but warming up a bit now. That's really cold for down here. It's overcast with no promise of sun.

Another day of heavy frost, blue sky & sunshine. No idea what the GH was overnight - haven't ventured out to look yet.
