Not had that for ages mostly because of the smell hanging around the house forever. When Helen was alive I was banned from the kitchen with kippers or smoked fish! I even once tried a home made hot smoker indoors and couldn't get rid of the smell for days! I do enjoy kippers but MrB isn’t too keen on them or their lingering smell.
Like you, I really enjoy kippers or any fish but am put off by the lingering smell, same goes for deep frying. Dad would sneak sprats into the house and fry them up for breakfast, mother would go ballistic because of the smell.

Tonight, as with many other nights, will be YS from shopping yesterday. P has Paella and I've got something Korean.

Today I had an all day breakfast at a cafe, which didn't last me all day so later (tea time) I had roast beef with a tin of poatatoes I found at the back of the cupboard, In retrospect I wished I had left them where they were or chucked them out as they were disgusting, the beef and gravy was nice though!

All FREE. I often buy the Wendleydale and apricot cheese as a snack. They pair well together methinks, although Kato's not struck on it!
