One for SC. Have you heard of the book "The Salt Path" about a couple who lose their home and, having nowhere to live, decide to walk around the South West Coast path (Devon & Cornwall). The book has been made into a film. After writing this book, the wife writes two more books, about their life after the walk. I've been given the 3 books, have read "The Salt Path" and am in the middle of the second book,
"The Wild Silence" which recalls episodes from the couple's early life - when they did a lot of walking and camping. In their twenties, they decided to visit Iona and, on the way, camped at Lochbuie on the shoreline. They were woken by the unearthly noise of a stag baying. Normally, unless I've been to a place myself, these descriptions mean very little, but, having seen your photos, I have a much better idea of where they were. Thank you.
