After yesterday's sunshine, its back to being wet and miserable.

Still crunchy underfoot and snow lying everywhere. Probably a couple of inches fell overnight but the wind has made it drift on the hill tops. Still had a long pleasant walk in the country with Kato. We have a route we follow every Sunday

This afternoon the sky turned yellow - not that light bright sunshiny yellow, but the heavy, storm cloud yellow that presages a downpour. It was torrential. That'll be a few more days before the ground starts to dry up. Last time I disturbed the soil, some horrible little biting insects flew up and bit me on the eyelids and nose. I attempted to brush them off, but managed to bruise my eye socket. I looked as if I'd done a few rounds in the ring! The bites really itched too. Pesky little things.

Blue sky, sunshine and, hopefully, some "Apricity" ......... plucked from this mornings radio weather forecast.
Apricity means feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin on a winter's day. Yes please.

It's a blue sky day, not particularly warm and quite breezy.
