Still no snow here? Temp was 7 degrees indoors this morning, yet frost seemed to have abated a bit on Kato's walk this morning?

Turned to rain late afternoon - just when I had a hole in the roof! Covered with a tarpaulin at the moment. Hope the roofers come back tomorrow.

My GH low was -5.1 last night, then it’s been -1.6 in there when I last looked at 4-ish this afternoon.

Rain all day . Which washed the snow away. Wind is picking up again & due to freeze tonight. Nice big ice rink to look forward too tomorrow.

Light frost on the roof this morning. The sun is trying its best but could try harder (as it used to say on my school reports).
No sign of the roofers yet - hope they're off gathering materials and will turn up soon. Don't like having a hole in the roof!

Still a very strong cold wind. None of the expected ice, which is good. Sun out at moment. Don’t expect that to last long. Big black clouds are moving in fast.

Why have you got a hole in the roof (isn't there a song there somewhere?) Or have I missed a post?
The song is The Serendipity Singers 'My roof's got a hole in it and I might drown'
Don't worry, I've just found the slipping slates post, in the IN's and OUT's thread

We had heavy rain late yesterday.
Luckily, on Kato's walk this morning I spotted him lose his footing but not falling! This warned me we had black ice and a very cold wind so i was extra vigilant.
Well done Kato!
