2026 - Today's Recipe

B. Granola, seeds, raisins, yogurt & honey
L. Lettuce, rocket, beetroot leaves, kale, tomatoes, cheese, pumpkin seeds and mayo
D. Mozzarella and pesto pizza.

Tuna pasta bake this evening.

Cottage pie with cauliflower and broccoli

L. Marmite on toast. Tangerine.
D. "Mexican inspired Fish topped with vegetables & breadcrumbs" with couscous.

Tried an all day full English breakfast at a greasy spoon cafe at lunchtime which was utterly disgusting! It looked like it has been dropped on the plate from 20 foot above!  You live and learn and I certainly won't be going back.

For supper I had a rump steak & gammon steak cooked at home, which was very tasty.

Fish, chips and mushy peas from the local chippy.

B. Toast & Plum jam
L. CACA salad with pumpkin seeds, cheese & mayo. Stollen from the cheap LIDL sell-off.
D. Leftover fish, mexican veg and couscous.

Today, for lunch I tried some flat strips of skinless sausagemeat with fried eggs and chilli infused grilling cheese which smelled ok even though it was dated December 2025! The sausage/bacon was like shoe leather so won't be gettig that again either!

For supper I had a gammon steak, scrambled eggs and two pieces of corn beef pie my daughter gave me.

A very unexpected last minute curry round with some neighbours. Very nice it was
