Round here the best blackberrying hedges are a closely guarded secret similar to where to harvest sloes Sleepy . Luckily my favourite spots are left alone, but too early yet to have a foray. Rolleyes

Sloes are so abundant around here it wouldn’t worry me if someone had cleared out one spot I’ve got over 50 places to choose from. Smile

I do have to be careful with my bullace spots though as people confuse them with sloes to make gin but they are far more versatile than that.
