A new I-Spy Challenge!
What plant in your garden/plot is in flower in May. Starts tomorrow with the Letter A.

I found what i think is a rose in the lawn today. It's only a couple of inches tall at the moment, positioned at the edge of the lawn in front of the house, right next to what was cow pastures. It will be fun to see what it grows into.

A is for Apple blossom. This is the best year I can remember for apple blossom. Hope it means lots of apples too.

A is for aquilegia, the bog standard almost wild pink stuff and I'm going to cheat a little as I have an Allium/onion flower about to burst.
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework

The pear bossom a couple of weeks ago was also exceptional this year but there weren't many bees around hence me utilising a paint brush to hopefully pollinate and get a few pears this year?
