Another day of sunshine and freezing cold. The blue sky and sun make you believe that its warmer out than it is. Doesn't fool me now, I've been tricked too often!

Bright this morning, which is heartlifting but bitter. It went down to -9.2°C last night. No wonder Scarlet was wrapping up her dahlias.

-6 here this morning and I have ice on the inside of my windows. Praying for my dahlia tubers but I sacrificed two old duvets last night to keep them warm.
