Time for a reminisce! I'm a bit sick of meat and eggs so decided to make myself a simple plate of chips with salt and vinegar.
This brought back memories of when I was a bairn and my Mother making us kids a cone of chips made with newspaper! We used to go running outside with our cones and thought we were the bees knees eating our chips on the village green!

Last night was homemade beer battered fish (pollock caught by us) and chips ( homegrown spuds including purple ones) followed by homemade Chelsea buns.
Tonight my friend is cooking again. We’re having duck with a cherry sauce, dauphinois potatoes. Veg yet to be decided ( she’s ridiculously fussy and doesn’t eat most veg and no salad! ). Followed by sticky toffee pudding.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

This thread always loads at the first page and I was think - must get some crab and linguine!
Curry night - vindaloo from the freezer, something with aubergines, something with beetroot and something carbish, probably homemade paratha
