We're promised rain by lunchtime, but only showers, which we're warned might be heavy. I've taken everything vulnerable undercover, removed the gh shading net, made sure the fine mesh over the seedlings is over a hoop to avoid the rain dragging it down over the babies. Having done all that before coffee in bed, you see, it won't rain.
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework

Unsettled last couple of days. Sunny spells, heavy prolonged showers, dry calm warm, windy grey cold. Give it 5 minutes it’ll be doing something different.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Quite a lot of rain this morning, but not enough to help with the empty waterbutts. Sunny this afternoon. Not sure what the night will bring.

Sun, and before it rained heavily I got my drry washing in off the line! An hour later the sun came out again!

One of those four seasons in one day, type of day today? Sun ,cold wind, rain and thunderstorms to look forward to later. Toyed with going fishing, but was a bit woried about holding a carbon fibre lightening rod in my hand!
