Turf n surf with rump steak and YS lemon sole for lunch. Evening meal will be a very cheap chicken Katsu curry. It was one of those very rare occasions that I hit lucky with Morries final reductions so I have filled my freezer with 30p bargains of beef mince, lamb mince, fish and ready meals!

I must stop buying stuff off the cheapy ounter just beause it's cheap, and be more selective about what I buy? I can't go wrong with meat as it can go in the freezer if need be, but from now on ready meals are a no no! I can't believe I used to live on this highly proessed crap!
So, beause I am a tight git the few meals I have bought need to be eaten.
Yesterday was a curry thing that was disgusting and mainly rice (for cheapness) This morning was what was supposed to be a meal in a Yorkshire pudding (originally over £4, whih I picked up for 60p ) with a small amount of chicken, some gravy that was like jelly and mainly lumps of potato which I left for Kato (Surprisingly he ate it?)
Only one more cheap ready meal left in the fridge (Chicken Korma ) for my penance then I can utilise some of the meat purhased which really was a bargain! Lesson learned!

The plan for this evening is to have pollock and chips. But as we’re going out on a friends boat later to lift pots. That plan could change.

Just took a joint of lamb out of freezer. It will play a part in some way for todays meals?
Note:-It did play a part! Cooked for 2 hours in total then sliced up about 2/3rds of it onto wooden chopping board and added salt and a dollop of mint sauce and ate it direct from chopping board pecrhed on my knees!
I will have the rest after my evening boxing & Barre exercises!
