All silent babies are cute 
I will put her on a platform off the soil and research whether to pinch out that stalk. I think her name will be Pipette.

I failed, yet again, to grow any tromba .........in fact, any squash at all. Maybe next year.

I had very little to do with it. Apart from sowing and planting her it was all her own work. I may have interfered a bit by spraying her with dilute weedkiller, but she shrugged that off and gave us a fine baby.
