Flurries of snow now!

It was -2.1c in my GH overnight not been much warmer all day.

It’s flipping cold with light northerly breeze and bright sunshine. Frost hasn’t cleared all day in places.

It was cold over night here, but no snow, either last night or today

Heavy frost this morning. My black car turned white overnight. Chicken's water was frozen, as was all the standing water. A kettle of boiling water soon sorted that out. Must remember to take some hot water with me tomorrow morning so that I don't have to make 2 trips.

-6.8° overnight last night, for the 2nd time in succession. Very pretty but I could ask for it to be a bit warmer. Now I'm glad I didn't succumb to growing Bijou mangetout in the gh, it wouldn't have liked these temps.

Bright and sunshiny this morning. Just a thin film of ice on the chicken's water that I could poke through with my finger.

It's really cold today. The chickens' water had frozen almost solid in the outside feeder, and had lots of ice in the one inside the coop. Poor things. I'm going back out to them tonight to check it's not frozen again. Brrr....!!

We’ve had a sprinkle of snow this afternoon.

A couple of inches of snow has been with us for a couple of days and seems to be locked in by the extremely low temperatures. Treacherous to walk on and the back streets are like a skating ring for cars as only the main bus routes are salted!  Kato has already dragged me on my arse so I am super careful when walking him. Luckily I still have cross country running shoes from my running days which have really good grips!
