^^^ I'm back and smiling.
Not as many seeds or people there as previously but enough to keep me happy.

I (with a little help from P) stirred all 3 large composts this morning and the one for use this year is full of wonderful black gold, I nearly took a picture, I was so pleased with it, but thought better of it, it's like other people's holiday snaps plus I didn't have anything with me to take pictures.

Tried out my new long nosed snippers today - very pleased with them. They encouraged me to cut back and deadhead the verbena bonariensis. Also the weather was lovely today, so that was two things that made me happy.

I took my tortoise out of hibernation today as I'd noticed some movement so I'm very happy to see the little fella. My childhood tortoises were left the "care" of my parents when I moved away from home and they both died in hibernation (the tortoises, not my parents) so each year it's always at the back of my mind.
He's had a bath, looking spry and has been eating away. I gave him some cucumber for a treat.

There was a lovely fat bumblebee buzzing around amongst my winter honeysuckle flowers this morning, and I spotted a honeybee this afternoon.
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!
