Very long day. Got home at 9.45 this evening. Doesn’t even look like we’ve done much  .
Shuttering finished, more of the reinforcing ring beam made in place, drainage nearly finished.
We’ve got to be finished for 8am Friday. That’s when our first lorry load of concrete arrives! That’s going to be a hard day. None of those fancy pumps that you see on grand designs on this island! It all has to be barrowed into position.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

By the end of play yesterday
Will be back on site by 7.30 . Hopefully it won’t be to hard graft today. With 7 of us & a digger.
