Honey and mustard glazed pork chops with mash and mixed veg.
I've also made a gooseberry and apple crumble but because we had some Black Forest Gateaux left we ate that instead. It will be interesting to see how the goosegog and apple crumble tastes, later though

Vinny I think any kind of crumble is good, the last one I made was rhubarb and raspberry.

More this afternoon than tonight but I have just put the dogs chicken thighs in the oven so I thought I may as well cook off a corned beef pie from the freezer, an indeterminate un-labelled pie from the freezer and some haggis slices that go out of date today!
Should make for an interesting late lunch with leftover tattie and veg.

A vegetarian jollop, made with frozen home grown tomato puree, homegrown dried beans, onions, and anything going mothery in the veg drawer, in this instance celery and sweet potatoes. Like SC we try to do veggie once a week, don't always achieve it, but we try.

From the river cottage meat book Well I didn't have toad in the hole but I had something that did fly
... not sure really as it had no label, it looked pheasant sized.
Confit "pheasant" with avocado salad. Was delicious!
