Morning
We have sunshine again! I’m off to play in the garden all day.
See you later.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Definitely a day in the sun today, bright calm and glorious. So much to do, so little time, I feel like the white rabbit in Alice. I suppose I ought to get up

Morning all. At last, tee shirt and shorts weather again. Lawn to cut and beech hedge to give its first cut so see you all later.

Morning all. I started to feel blooming unwell yesterday: sore throat, headache, aches and pains all over, exhausted and apathetic. I was thinking that might be me wiped out for the coming week at least, but have been up since half seven today and feeling much better. Think I may just have been overtired from such an intense shift pattern lately and it caught up with me because I knew I had a few days off in a row (I have Tuesday as well as the bank holiday weekend, which is the most days off I've had in a row since October). Hoping to have a productive day today, though nothing to show for it so far!.
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!

Yes I know its afternoon but there is no Good Afternoon or Good Evening thread so I am gossiping on here.
Both my Sons have planned a fishing trip to Kielder Reservoir for tomorrow. I have eventually relented and agreed to go with them if one of them picks me up.
I am being picked up at 5.30am which means realistically I need to be up at 4.00am to get ready and take the dogs out.(eek)
Its about a 1.5hr drive from where I live, but at least I will be able to enjoy the scenery as I am not driving. All the gear apart from my food and drink for the day is packed.
My only worry now is the Kielder midge!

Evening all, spent most of the morning at the hospital, appointment ended up running an hour and a half late...no reason given and no apology, most unusual! They actually asked a few people to go for a walk and come back in 50 mins!!!!! These are cancer patients for goodness sake.
Anyhoo had a nice afternoon sitting in the garden with a coffee and a delicious clotted cream and jam scone...jam first of course!
Hope you all had a lovely day, enjoy the rest of your evening. x
