More weeding and clearing in Victoria & Stanley's patch.
Acquired two dalek compost bins so set one up on this patch and chucked all the grass and weeds in it.
Moved an almost empty, small compost bin into the old chicken run to replace a dustbin that I'd put there for weeds.
Not sure where the other "new" compost bin will go yet.

Hacked down the Buddleia which has finished floweing. If I don't do this each year it will take over! Sick

While I had the loppers to hand I also cut down an elder which had gown through the rhododendon and also some blackberry stems which had also tried to take over! I know rhodies are despised and teated as weeds, but the wildlife love mine and its always full of birds, probably bceause of the wild rose and blackberies growing though it fom an inpenetrable barrier to keep them safe fom cats etc?

I also chopped off a branch of a pear tree leaving a single vertical stem, similar to a dwaf apple I have near by.

More weeding and clearing. Enough to fill the other new compost bin. (I have 6 compost bins and the Hotbin, plus 4 wormeries Big Grin)
Found a bag of wrinkled, baby carrots that I was given weeks ago - and they were sprouting new leaves. So instead of putting them in the Hotbin, I planted them in a big pot.

Planted a Rhubarb plant that has been in a bucket into a newly created mini-raised bed. Its just a tier of a square wormery with the bottom removed. I filled it with some composted wood chips and old compost.
Also planted out some yellow beetroot seedlings that were a bit cramped in their pot.
Did some front garden weeding and chopping. Garden waste bins full and ready for collection tomorrow.

No gardening. Fracture clinic with P in the morning. Battling tech (again) in the afternoon. P's like a bear with a sore head. He has to wear the splint for 6-8 weeks and no using the wrist. He has painting, gardening & DIY planned to do before winter sets in, let alone any gardening jobs. Not likely to achieve any of those before the wrist is healed.

Big Grin Big Grin he says yes it is, and I make sure there's a supply of dock leaves for the purpose. Retraining is in progress. He insists on using recycled paper, I think that's downright disgusting!   Big Grin

Cleaned 3 really dirty house. While cleaning the first one we had to stop . To go and evict Lawrence the highland bull and some sheep out of the garden. After cleaning the second ( which was so bad photos were taken and sent to the owner) we had to find someone (who wasn’t bored of or still busy cutting trees) to come and clear a tree. Aa the only road in & out had been blocked by another falling tree. So helped clearing that. Then got dropped off at the third house to clean alone . As boss lady had an early afternoon surprise party to go to.
