Success, well done Vinny.

My happy today was seeing the first of the pear blossom bursting. Now I've got to hope the frost stays away so we get a crop, otherwise its curtains for the blossom.

Two of my pear trees have been in full bloom for a week or two - the others are still thinking about opening. Different varieties of course, but I can only guess at which is which. Big Grin

My happy is wandering around the garden in the sunshine, watching it change from yellow (Daffs & primroses) to blue and purple (bluebells, honesty, lots of violets).
Pausing to smell the blossom on the mirabelle plum (like almonds) - more flowers than ever before.
Watching the bumble bees zooming about their business -  so furry I want to cuddle them.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

I have a willow which I am training around a garden arch. I strung solar lights around the arch (£2.99 at Home Bargains) and last night saw them lit up for the first time. Today I cut my lawn successfully (Lawnmower tinkering was a success! Yay Cool ) and checked out the arch. The willow has the fuzzy cat's tails on it and the bees seem to love it!

So that's two things that made me happy today, and one for last night! Big Grin

My happy today is seeing one of my very few (2) asparagus plants showing a growth. I covered it in some home compost to let it snuggle in, we're due a frost tonight
