Seen lots of Speckled wood and Gatekeeper and of course Scarlet Tiger Moth this year but whether I could spot them in any 15 minute slot is debatable.

I did my first butterfly count today. I got 4 red admiral and 3 green veined white. Which is considerably better than all of last year’s counts combined. I just stood by the buddleia for the 15 minutes.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.
