Frost here this morning with the car iced up. Temperature down to 3C in the greenhouse but 6.5C under a layer of fleece over tomato plants. Hopefully the early potatoes, french beans and lobelia are OK under fleece outside.

We're the same here, in the open air in the garden it was 0.7°C, the heated greenhouse 4.3°C and the unheated one 0.5°C. I wasn't up early enough to see a frost but I expect there was one. I've got the potential outdoor toms in the unheated gh, they're 2' tall and no room anywhere less cold. The poor things will be right confused, they were baking in the sun a couple of days ago and gasping with the heat in the gh. I wrapped them up in fleece and bubble wrap last night and they seem to have survived ok. It was nice and sunny when I woke up and about 9° but the cloud has rolled in now.

Sunshiny but cool breeze. GH went down to 6.7 last night. All toms and cucumbers are in position in the GH. They take their chances - no cossetting.

Another cold one overnight but pleasant enough this morning. Th o/s toms are basking in the breeze and sunshine once again. It's nearly time to start hardening off other tenders.
Night times of 6 or 7 would suit me fine. I get a bit miffed when the forecasters say 6 but might be lower in rural areas and we go down to a frost.

Seems like decent weather to go fishing. Overcast and a bit nippy but hey ho!

Warm days but very cold nights! Last night but last we had a mild frost... night time temps look like they may get better from Saturday. Desperately need to get some plants out of the greenhouse
