Had a look through my seeds, got depressed because I want to grow them all but can’t. So set up the sales barrow for the tourists season.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Having cleaned the gh's glass inside and out (ish) I spent a couple of hours sorting out gh shelves and 'put places' to get rid of rubbish. Nothing finished though. Found some lawnsand and sprinkled that on the crappy lawn to get rid of the moss.

Went to a car boot sale this afternoon. What a waste of time looking through other peoples tat! I took a pocket full of change expectantly and came home with the same pocket full and nothing bought!

Had a look through the soggy pots of neglected dahlias. May get lucky with about half pulling through. Happy to see peas germinating in the little greenhouse and some flowers inside.

Pruned a choisya around the pond. A bit late maybe as there were flower buds, but needs must. All but fell in the pond but luckily landed with my bum in a flower bed rather than my head in the water.

Too cold and foggy to entice me outdoors today.

Not much today. Tried to figure out which seeds I have from some packs of Chiltern bargain basement mixed seeds. I recognize so few - marigold, calendula, sweet pea, zinnia - and have successfully searched only a couple like aquilegia. Not sure how many I'll try to sow. Already have loads I sowed from these mixed packs way too early in February but I'm so curious!

I have a weakness for mixed seeds too. Chiltern used to sell (maybe still do?) a packet of mixed seeds with a list of what was in there. I would sow them and try to identify the seedlings from the names on the list.
EDIT - it was called the Non-anonymous mix - but its not in their catalogue now.
