Luckily no they're not coming anywhere near our village.  But a member of our village is chaperoning them on their visit.

Do you think Bob could lay a pipe down to Salisbury, we'll have some of your water.  Skew looks like one of those bears waiting for a salmon to appear so he can hook it out of the river.

Today has been a mixed bag of jobs. First job every day is pump out the treatment plant hole & ditches. Apparently it’s fascinating     

Next job was to flip over the base of our next building project (a shepherds hut).      . Now it the right way up we can move our spare roofing sheets onto it for storage. Which means I can finish designing my cottage garden.

Then it was unstacking the rock pile      So I can carry on splitting. We also moved one to the entrance      . This one is going to have our house sign mounted on it. When it’s in place and standing the right way up. 

Levelled the area it’s going. Ok so not levelled but the big lump removed. Before      . After      .

Then we started on the first weird/pointless filter thing. Started with the 5m one.

We had help again today. Finally finished concreting in the treatment plant.      The rest of that hole will be filled with pea gravel.  After that we put the rock in place that’s going to have our house sign on it .      Does anyone know a stone mason?   . We’ll probably end up with a wooden sign attached to it some how.

I know a stone mason - my grandfather! Unfortunately he died about 50 years ago so not much use to you. Could you chase the letters out with a little drill and paint them with something?

Quite possibly. Unfortunately a very high chance of it looking like a 4 year old had done it   . You should have seen my new barrow sign before we handed it to the neighbour   . And that was just painting. We both had a go. We were both rubbish     .
