Just got delivery of some new chilli plugs

Is it bad to say I have never grown chilli plants

You can both start   .

Not going to happen, don't know what to do with one, let alone a bush of them.  Occasionally use bog standard chilli flakes ( don't shudder SC) for a bit of heat in cooking, but apart from that not too keen on fiery flavours.  But still find it fascinating reading about you enthusiasts.

Pitiful excuses     ! You could grow a Low or no heat variety ( there’s lots to choose from). Chillies doesn’t have to blow your head off. 
Even veggie ( the woman who is scared of them ) has been persuaded in the past to grow no heat chillies    . I believe she tolerated the no heat jalapeños      . 

I’ll let you into a little secret. I don’t like hot chillies!
