Growing for the taste

Whilst not a substitute for courgettes, you could have squash in store or even consider pickling cucumbers,  they're not the same when vinegared but would add a taste to your salads.

I have a few squash & trombas in store although the tromba are the only ones I've grown. The others were gifts!

Pickled veg  don't count in this "plan" - they need to be fresh to qualify.
