Harvesting soft fruit: cherries, black currants and hopefully some gooseberries if I have the energy. You can hardly tell I've picked any looking at what is still on the bushes. Even the resident blackbird is struggling to make an impression. So far I've I've picked about 13kg of soft fruit and about 8kg cherries. Just need about 2kg of gooseberries and then about the same for Autumn raspberries.
Pulled up a few garlic and a few kilo of potatoes. a few of 3 varieties. The swift and rocket are yielding reasonable quantities but the premier, which are supposed to be an early that's good for chips has been quite poor so far so the jury is still out on that one.
