I was about to embarass myself
Somewhere it says Armenian cucumbers need a long hot summer (that puts me off for a start) then it said for germination they need in excess of 50 degrees WHAT!! thought I, hot hot hot, then after a few seconds I figured I was looking at an American site, they talk in Fahrenheit,  panic over, but feeling rather silly

I still use Fahrenheit all the time. Can't visualise temperature in celsius/centigrade! On the BBC weather siteI have it set up fo show Fahrenheit also. Can't get away with this new money.
