Picked my first bowl of strawberries - ate half with breakfast and I'm about to eat the remainder in the next 5 minutes! I like June, she brings all the tastes I've missed since last year.
I agree with you re young broad beans, but I'm always torn between mortgaging a larger crop or eating the babies. Enjoy your strawbs, very decadent, strawberries for breakfast,. Mine are coming in thick and fast so delicious especially as they're all mine
. I do believe June visits you first , you always seem to pick the goodies before anyone else (not that we're competitive you understand).
