I seem to be adding courgettes into nearly everything we cook.
Tonight was tagliatelle, Bol (with added courgette) garlic bread, Parmesan, basil pesto and a glass of red.

Chilli - one fatalii & one jalapeno, our own toms & peppers but I forgot to soak the beans.
Pear & blackberry crumble.
But where are the courgettes, I hear you cry. Three jars of marrow & ginger chutney

King Prawn, Tomato and Chilli Linguine
"King prawns and Sunblush tomatoes in a tomato and chilli dressing topped with linguine" Yellow stickered down from £3 to 15p.
Looked everywhere on the packaging - plenty of serving advice but nothing about eating linguine when you're alone - as its flips about everywhere.

My OH is in hospital just now so I can cook things the way I like them just now.
Yesterday for Sunday dinner I had allotment fare of Snowball turnips, broad beans, calabree and French beans. Added to this was a nice piece of Rib-eye steak bought cheaply from Aldi cooked medium rare, just the way I like i.
Nicest Sunday meal I have had for a long time and all veg gathered freshly from plot.

Get Well Soon Vinny's OH!
Last night tomato, basil & balsamic salad - first of the Omars Lebanese toms and they get a ten out of ten. Then lamb leg steaks, roast aubergine, steamed courgette and roast spud (from the shops ) . Pear and almond pudding to finish.
Tonight - spag with left over baked aubergines, home made pesto and maybe I'll smuggle some courgette in!
