If any of you are on FB, PM me your FB user name and I'll send you an invite to our FB group. It was set up when G&G went down, so that a few of us could contact each other. I've sent an Invite to JJB but don't know anyone else's FB User name.

A lot of one step forward and two back today. Very annoying. But we got our first bit of plywood up in the shower. (All none structural walls in bathroom have to be lined with plywood. In the event handrails and such are even needed. And started sorting out shower drainage. Ordered lots of stuff as well

We both worked this morning. This afternoon we put up our very first bit of plaster board. On the ceiling, in the cupboard.
It really is a small piece. The full width of the cupboard but only 33cm deep. Just enough for the air source engineer to put pipes through it from the attic and still get to the space between the attic floor and ceiling.
Easier to put pipes through the ceiling than to build a ceiling around pipes.

Today we did a bit of floor levelling in the cupboard. Cut the underlay and fitted that. Then start working out how to lay the laminate floor boards. Cut them to size ready for laying. Skirting boards got cut to size. Then everything came back and we started playing around with colours for the wall. Very quickly we decided to leave it wood. Obviously we then had to choose which of the 4 oils to use. There was a clear winner and the cupboard now looks like this

. I’m now choosing a colour for the skirting board to be. Which is very annoying having to wait for paint to arrive. With all the painting jobs Bob has had in recent years, he’s never managed to acquire anything suitable for skirting boards.
