Merseyside farmer: "Harvest disappearing in front of our eyes" It has been the driest start to spring in 69 years
https://hellorayo.co.uk/hits-radio/liver...aring-eyes A farmer I watch on YouTube has downgraded his expected gross income from wheat from £30k to £5k. He said that when the plants are stressed they start to drop their tillers (side shoots), which massively reduces the yield.

Thunder, rain and hailstones. Not sure which way its going as there's no wind. Better get your washing in though.

We've had a week or two of dull weather and rain, which was well needed. The farmers in the village are complaining, and the soil is literally flying off the fields when it's windy. Today has been sunny, but now it's overcast but still warm.
