Yesterday I harvested courgettes and tomatoes and dug up more potatoes, planting garlic in pots and mowed some grass. Today will be more potatoes, some hedge cutting and podding beans.

Cut down/out blighted toms. Cut down sweetcorn. Pulled up DFBs. Had a one sided conversation with a very small mouse before dumping all the arisings on top of him.

The only upside is that it helps me decide which ones not to grow outside next year. Why is it always my favourites that get blighted. This year wasn't the worst its ever been, so I should be grateful.

Podded beans while drinking my morning coffee. Hedge cutting and dismantling dfb supports. Then harvested aubergines and sweet peppers, about 10 of each.

Picked toms then roasted them in the oven while I baked some mince pies.

A bit early for us to make mince pies but definitely need to get some mince meat. Might try making some this year but will need a good recipie.
