Sarriss was wondering does your Star Anise break up in the slow cooker ?
Mine does and MrB says it’s like chewing on a piece of wood.

I chuck them in wether they're broken or not, but I can't say I've noticed that the whole ones break up. Either way, we don't eat them lol
