Had our first real frost yesterday on the roofs, "lawn" and cars but under the trees, nothing. Thank you Trees.

This past Thursday has been our coldest in the GH this season at -0.3c it did make the garden look pretty and sparkly

I’m expecting a frost tonight / tomorrow morning. It’s been a beautiful clear sunny day. As soon as the sun dropped the temperature plummeted. It’s a beautiful clear night as well.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

We've had a week of frosts and that means we've already had more frosts this year than last!
I love the cold crisp weather especially as we rely on solar gain to heat the house during the day. Grey dank days are just rubbish.

I agree with PP the dank dreary days are just depressing. It does seem we're getting more of them rather than the cold bright days. Solar wise, P says these last couple of months have been the worst ever since we had the panels installed some 8 yrs ago. Forecaster said last night we are in for some cold weather next week though, but didn't mention any brightness.
