Well actually I’ll be cheating. I’m only growing a small variety of squash this year. I’ll definitely be showing off if it produces anything. I mean unless they decide against. It seems like the only tromba seed to germinate has crawled back into its shell RE: 2026 - Pumpkin & Tromba competition - Vinny - 06-05-2026 I'll have to check my seed stash, but if need be I'm sure the budget will stretch to some fresh seeds, so count me in! RE: 2026 - Pumpkin & Tromba competition - Vinny - 06-05-2026 Just checked those Tromba's look too 'Snakelike' and send shivers up my spine, so I will give them a miss! Pumpkins yes, Tromba';s NO!
RE: 2026 - Pumpkin & Tromba competition - JJB - 06-05-2026 No pumpkins here, not even a tromba, although I might change my mind. I'm experimenting with a new one, a Serpente di Sicily to climb up the climbing frame. RE: 2026 - Pumpkin & Tromba competition - Veggie - 06-05-2026 Serpent di Sicilia is very similar to tromba - so you're in! RE: 2026 - Pumpkin & Tromba competition - Vinny - 06-05-2026 I was once givent some serpent de secillia of someone who had bought the seeds on there holidays abroad. I burried them at the bottom of my seedbox and told him thet I had fiorgot to sow them, or that they hadn't germinated, can't remember which?
