RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Bren - 11-08-2025 Cornish pasties, mashed potato, mushy peas and onion gravy. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 11-08-2025 Bacon, smoked salmon and soft cheese eatten in motohome befoe heading home. Probably rump steak after evening wokout? RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Small chilli - 11-08-2025 Lamb burgers RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Veggie - 11-08-2025 B. A pre-breakfast apple from the Irish peach apple tree (confusing innit!). Followed by plums, granola & yogurt L. Cheese & tomato rolls D. I think this is described as "fridge gravel" - the leftover odds and ends you find in the fridge. ![]() A shrivelled red pepper, some wrinkly mushrooms, 2 tiny shallots, a couple of bendy baby carrots and the leftover prawns and couscous. All stir-fried together. It was actually rather nice! RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Small chilli - 12-08-2025 Tonight I think will be chips and ham. The ham topped with a pineapple ring and melted cheese. Nice and simple after cooking all day. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Bren - 12-08-2025 Fishcakes with Charlottes and salad. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 12-08-2025 For brunch I fancied something light, so had a couple of cod fillets in beadcrumbs. How wrong could I be, after peeling off the majoity of the crust of batter with breadcrumbs stuck to it, thee was vey little fish. I put the beadcrumb/batter mix down fo Kato and even he turned his nose up at it. ![]() I couple of hous later I had a couple of rump steaks which were on-date so needed to be used. What a difference, with loads of butter aded they were scrumptious . Kato has a plan now methinks, he starts drooling and to stop him I have to give him some. He didn't get a lot though as they wree too nice! ![]() I will have something else later, but not sue what yet, maybe summat from the yellow sticker isle I'll visit this evening after excercising! RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Veggie - 12-08-2025 B. Plums, granola & yogurt L. Avocado, lettuce, tomatoes & pumpkin seeds D. Vegan sausage roll - too hot to bother with much. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 12-08-2025 My late night shopping !YS deal was a Figit pie which was a bit too sweet fo me RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - JJB - 13-08-2025 We had plant based Moroccan inspired burgers (no buns) with salad and orzo. It was YS of course, from Lidl. I wasn't expecting much, as they looked a bit dry, but they were surprisingly pleasant. |
