RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 26-06-2025 Whilst shopping at about lunch time I had a £1 pack of Swedish meatballs and a 75p coffee from B&M. This evening I had a ribeye steak with scrambled eggs for supper. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Small chilli - 27-06-2025 Going to a BBQ this evening. Luckily our host is a complete mad man and BBQs in all weathers. Because it’s absolutely hissing it down. Even better it’s only him outside, we all sit in the kitchen and watch him out the window. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 27-06-2025 I had a small 'all day breakfast' at a local cafe this morning. I have some yellow sticker breaded Haddock I am about to cook now and may have some steak for ron? RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Bren - 27-06-2025 Veg burger, salad and a few chips. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 28-06-2025 Speculated £1 at Herron's freezer shop on a frozen Cottage pie. I had this for lunch with grated cheddar cooked on top of it. I thought it would be all potato and little meat, but was pleasantly surprised at the lack of potato! ![]() I will have rump steak and eggs later as I also found £3.00 rump steaks (Bargain) at Morries so I bought four of them, two of which went straight into the freezer, and they were all well within date! RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Small chilli - 28-06-2025 Chilli & rice RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Vinny - 29-06-2025 It will be some form of a meal made with mince (which is ON date today) and eggs. I did see a recipe (if you can all it that?) on a carnivore website which I may give a try. The only variation from norm, is that I cook six eggs in butter & a pound of mince seperately then add them together when cooked whearas I usually bung three eggs in the frying pan when the mince is nearly ready, and cook together? It sounds nice enough, Vinny, but I would really miss my veg and carbs. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - JJB - 29-06-2025 Last night cold ham, Orzo, & veg from the garden (broccoli, grilled courgettes and steamed MT). Tonight is Sunday Tesco takeaway, I think it's biryani. RE: 2025 - Today's Recipe - Bren - 29-06-2025 A veggie cottage for us. |
