Most flat free spaces are taken up with snail begonias

My snail begonia along with my Christmas cactus are currently taking up 75% of the draining board in the caravan. I highly recommend having houseplants and no house. It just adds to the fun of the whole situation ( there may be a hint of sarcasm in there somewhere(11-12-2025, 05:21 PM)Small chilli Wrote: There’s flowers everywhere. I can’t keep up with it . RE: Amaryllis - Veggie - 12-12-2025 Good to know your Snails are still alive! My leaf cutting one is too. ![]() SC, have you room to hang them from the caravan roof/curtain rails? Hanging basket type thingy? RE: Amaryllis - Small chilli - 12-12-2025 (12-12-2025, 11:34 AM)Veggie Wrote: Good to know your Snails are still alive! We decided that wasn’t the best idea. He’s been repotted since then too. RE: Amaryllis - Veggie - 12-12-2025 Wow! that's a biggun. Are there 2 different cacti in the pot, or is it 2 pots? Mine are just in bud- no flowers open yet!Old Mother Snail wishes her offspring a Merry Wotsit.

It's not pot bound, dry or waterlogged. This year it's a bit of a disappointing puzzle. RE: Amaryllis - JJB - 13-12-2025 (12-12-2025, 01:28 PM)Veggie Wrote: Wow! that's a biggun. Baby Snails are growing up fast. We had to hospitalise one baby because her roots rotted. The care giver was too enthusiastic with the water, but she's rallied round, overcome her difficulties, is out of ICU and is thriving. P's just reminded me that elder daughter has a flower. [attachment=8605] RE: Amaryllis - Vinny - 15-12-2025 Just joined the Hipeastrum gang! ![]() They were £3.99 in Lidl so I thought, why not? Rummaged through and found a pink one which is now potted up and sitting on the kitchen windowsill!
