If we can't make a healthy profit, think of how the farmers cope? Cry

RE: 2025 - the Garden Balance Sheet - Veggie - 03-11-2025

Maybe you should eat some vegetables & fruit to help the farmers?

I only have carrots left to harvest. So that’s pretty much it for this year for me. But I’m happy with that. As my garden isn’t yet at full capacity. In profit by £103.19.

I think I would definitely buy from your little shop Veggie if you can get a months supply of tomatoes, apples, pears and more for just £8 or even £22. And they would not be just M&S food, they would be top quality. Single apples and pears are 50p each about at Tesco.

I like a bargain! Actually, I'm so out of touch with the price of fruit & veg that I have no idea what they cost. I may buy some carrots or bananas but very little else. Most of my F&V is FREE, either from the Food Pantry or from the Little Shop.
I'm looking at the 5 apples I picked yesterday and thinking..........You'd be £2.50 in Tescos. Big Grin

I must try to do the accounting in 2026.
