RE: 2025 - What I harvested today - SarrissUK - 03-08-2025 Red russian kale, lots of it. As much leaves are going to the chickens, as there's something munching on them. The chickens will be pleased. I've cut up all the stems that I don't want, boiled them up and making a porridge for the chickens for tomorrow. Double treats for them! I've also picked some rhubarb unseasonally late, but my dog wrapped her lead around the whole plant yesterday and damaged lots of stems, so I'm not wasting them. Rhubarb and strawberry crumble is in the oven as we speak. I 'harvested' some chanterelles yesterday, and will fry them in butter and have with our dinner tonight ![]() RE: 2025 - What I harvested today - Vinny - 03-08-2025 More yellow and green round courgettes. I will say that once they get going they are quite productive! ![]() RE: 2025 - What I harvested today - Bren - 04-08-2025 Toms, basil spring onions, courgette and 2 cucumbers.
