My tree stayed in the attic this year! Blush I have a string of lights over the window, that's all.

I gave away all our Christmas decorations a few years ago and there were some that had been in the family for a similarly long time. Can't remember what they were now - time is a great healer/thief of memory.Big Grin

I can't throw any decs out though, some small tree decorations are from my baby hood others are mum's. My DiL still has a few of the glass baubles from the Xmas tree present mentioned previously.  The salt dough glittery shapes that the lad and I made many years ago finally bit the dust this year, they got damp  Cry Salt dough doesn't like damp, who knew? After reading about beans here, I wanted some today.
Opened the tin of Aldi beans, they didn’t tip out like usual it was almost solid with beans and only a small amount of sauce. It was the best tin ever.
Has anyone else ever come across that?

Don't often eat baked beans but always buy Aldi's

I find most supermarkets own (any of them ) are more flavourful than Heinz baked beans .

I do  the "shake test" when I buy them. If it sounds liquidy, I put them back on the shelf. After all, we want beans, not slop. Big Grin

Do you have a desk to use it on? And if so, what do you do at your desk?

Are you insinuating that I am so disorganised that I either do not have a desk or, if I do, its covered in clutter. If so, you're about 95% correct. Big Grin
I plan to use it in the kitchen.
For the record I have 2 desks. One will have seedling plants on it in the spring. The other has the printer and stationery stuff in the drawers..I never sit at either of them.

I bought a tin of tinned steak which was advertised on television as having 'No lumps of fat or gristle'. After opening the tin I found it was half full of meat products and half full of gravy. I contacted the manufacturers and told them there WAS lumps of fat and gristle and only half a tin of meat products and half a tin of gravy!  Angry
They sent me six tins of the same brands as recompence which once opened were exactly the same! Rolleyes I didn't have the heart to take it any further so just stayed away from that brand at the time, and have never bought tinned steak since! Big Grin
