RE: Frosts - Scarlet - 28-09-2020 Yes VC!! I am so excited Yes, my gourds are no longer. I will get everything in tomorrow. But the next few nights we look like we won't go any lower than 8° RE: Frosts - JJB - 28-09-2020 We got away with in Salisbury this time, although 0° nothing in the garden or GH was touched. RE: Frosts - Veggie - 28-11-2020 Had our first real frost yesterday on the roofs, "lawn" and cars but under the trees, nothing. Thank you Trees. RE: Frosts - Bren - 28-11-2020 This past Thursday has been our coldest in the GH this season at -0.3c it did make the garden look pretty and sparkly RE: Frosts - Small chilli - 28-11-2020 I’m expecting a frost tonight / tomorrow morning. It’s been a beautiful clear sunny day. As soon as the sun dropped the temperature plummeted. It’s a beautiful clear night as well. RE: Frosts - PyreneesPlot - 28-11-2020 We've had a week of frosts and that means we've already had more frosts this year than last! I love the cold crisp weather especially as we rely on solar gain to heat the house during the day. Grey dank days are just rubbish. RE: Frosts - Can the Man - 29-11-2020 6’C tonight at 8:30 in the poly tunnel when I shut the doors. RE: Frosts - JJB - 29-11-2020 I agree with PP the dank dreary days are just depressing. It does seem we're getting more of them rather than the cold bright days. Solar wise, P says these last couple of months have been the worst ever since we had the panels installed some 8 yrs ago. Forecaster said last night we are in for some cold weather next week though, but didn't mention any brightness. |
