That would have been me  Vinny, Big Grin  until we each made a plastic or oilcloth cover to keep the rain of.

Ooh, I used the gingham one Big Grin ....and I hated those baskets - so heavy and you couldnt sling it over a shoulder!

I still have my school one Bren - use it to take food in when going to friends Big Grin
