How good so you think my memory is, Mark? Big Grin I know I planted some rooted slips in the garden and they grew leaves but thay must have given up the ghost at some point because I've never harvested any from that patch.

I was in 2 minds whether to preface my remark: "Can you remember ..." but thought 3 years is no time at all when you are over 40.

I've never tried growing sweet potatoes but surely to put a tropical plant in the fridge is going to result in serious damage or death? (To the sweet potato, not you or the fridge). I imagine anything below 10C is way too cold.
