RE: The build - Bren - 22-01-2026 Lots of progress
RE: The build - Veggie - 22-01-2026 Wow! You've got heating. Big steps today. RE: The build - JJB - 23-01-2026 A house with heating! What progress! RE: The build - Vinny - 23-01-2026 You seem to be coming on leaps and bounds now SC!
RE: The build - Small chilli - 23-01-2026 Just the porch finished today [attachment=8654] . Still the beam to box in. They were supposed to start on the bathroom as well. Bob got a call out. So they finished early. They will be back at it tomorrow. RE: The build - Small chilli - 24-01-2026 More plasterboard is up. The dining room is done and part of the kitchen. I was informed at lunch that I had to do the final design for one side of the kitchen by tomorrow! Because he wants to finish off the plumbing in the kitchen so they can plasterboard it. Not a lot of time to make long term decisions. The short timeframe was made considerably earlier by the information I could have a new kitchen .
RE: The build - Veggie - 24-01-2026 A new kitchen is a big incentive! RE: The build - JJB - 25-01-2026 Gosh a real kitchen, what excitement. RE: The build - Bren - 25-01-2026 SC your had must be full of plans so I hope you got some sleep last night. Even though my tiny brain was melting by time I went to bed. I kept waking up thinking of things I’d forgotten. Think I’m nearly there now. On the 3rd redesign. I know what I want, just having a bit of trouble getting it to fit in. Once I’m happy with it & Bob I suppose . We’re going to use the free online design service. Just to make sure it’s right, going to work and that we’ve not missed anything. Like Bob said they’re trying to sell stuff. But they will probably make it look better with all the correct finishing touches.
