RE: The build - Vinny - 01-05-2025 The problem with that is everyone else feels the same so you all finish up being similar! ![]() RE: The build - Veggie - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 04:09 PM)Vinny Wrote: The problem with that is everyone else feels the same so you all finish up being similar!I disagree! You're the only person I know who doesn't eat vegetables and I'm the only person I know who uses the Roots, Fruits & Leaves gardening plan. Now, I think we'd better get off SC's Build thread or she'll be cross. ![]() RE: The build - Vinny - 01-05-2025 (01-05-2025, 04:52 PM)Veggie Wrote:While we are randomising, have you noticed that in medievel times they all wore cassocks with hoods, very similar to the hoodies that most young folk wear now, even in glorious sunshine? We did get our perforated pipe into the plastic wrapped gravel. With more gravel over the top. [attachment=8211] That is now completely enclosed by plastic. I lied to you. It’s not a filter . It’s basically a water tank. To help reduce flooding down stream when it gets bit damp! RE: The build - Veggie - 01-05-2025 Is that called attenuation - or something? There's an open "attenuation" pond near here- intended to hold and store the water running off the hillside and release it slowly into the stream, reducing the risk of flooding. We have a working toilet in our house ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Not fitted properly yet as still need to get electric in before we can get plasterboard and skirting boards on walls. Hopefully we’ll get the floor tiled soon. RE: The build - Veggie - 08-05-2025 Wow!! That is what I call a BIG jobby progress ![]() RE: The build - Small chilli - 09-05-2025 We did this yesterday [attachment=8219] A little landscaping still needs doing |
